Key Responsibilities:
Therapy Support & Assistance:
- Assist in AVT therapy sessions for children with cochlear implants.
- Support senior therapists in implementing individualized therapy plans.
- Prepare and organize therapy materials and classroom activities.
Patient Documentation & Records:
- Assist in maintaining accurate records in the EMR system.
- Document session observations, progress notes, and follow-ups.
Monitoring & Progress Support:
- Observe and track child responses during therapy sessions.
- Report progress and concerns to supervising therapists.
Communication & Coordination:
- Support communication with parents/caregivers regarding basic therapy activities.
- Coordinate with therapists, special educators, and healthcare teams.
Learning & Professional Development:
- Participate in training programs and workshops related to AVT and special education.
- Show willingness to learn and adopt new therapy and teaching methods.
Experience Required:
- 1–2 years of experience working in special schools, inclusive schools, therapy centers, or similar environments.
- Experience with children having hearing impairment, speech delay, or developmental challenges is an added advantage.
