Role Summary: Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, BOM preparation, inventory planning, and ensuring timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices to support production and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track deliveries.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Planning, and Stores teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships and identify alternate vendors.
- Verify material specifications, pricing, and quality standards.
- Maintain procurement records, reports, and ERP data.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
- 5+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of BOM preparation, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
