Work you'll do
As an Assistant Manager, Cyber Engineering on the Cyber Security team, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with application, Cyber Security, and infrastructure teams to onboard applications into the microsegmentation service
- Monitoring the microsegmentation mailbox and ServiceNow queue and responding to requests and incidents
- Diagnosing and resolving microsegmentation issues and supporting timely operational needs
- Evaluating and implementing changes to microsegmentation security policies based on risk and business requirements
- Researching application traffic to identify communication flows and support policy design
- Drafting and maintaining process and procedure documentation and recommending improvements to microsegmentation operations

Cyber Security vigilantly protects Deloitte and client data. The team leads a strategic cyber risk program that adapts to a rapidly changing threat landscape, changes in business strategies, risks, and vulnerabilities. Using situational awareness, threat intelligence, and building a security culture across the organization, the team helps to protect the Deloitte brand.
Areas of focus include Risk & Compliance, Identity & Access Management, Data Protection, Cyber Design, Incident Response, Security Architecture, and Business Partnership.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: Indian Standard working hours
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a specified technical field
- 6-8 years of experience in Cyber Security or Network Operations
- Experience with networking concepts, including protocols and firewall operations
- Experience supporting application or infrastructure security operations
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues in enterprise environments
Preferred:
- Experience supporting or operating microsegmentation or network security solutions
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
- Experience with cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services
- Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware or Hyper-V
- Experience with Zero Trust security principles
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems
