- Site Surveys: Evaluate client premises to determine optimal camera placements for maximum coverage and security.
- Hardware Mounting: Physically install cameras, brackets, and housings in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Cabling & Wiring: Route power supplies, coaxial cables, or Ethernet cables (for IP cameras) safely through walls and ceilings.
- System Integration: Set up recording units like DVRs (Digital Video Recorders) or NVRs (Network Video Recorders) and configure them with hard drives.
2. Networking and Software Configuration
- IP Configuration: Assign IP addresses to network cameras and configure routers/switches for seamless connectivity.
- Remote Viewing: Set up software and mobile apps so clients can monitor live feeds from anywhere.
- System Tuning: Adjust camera focus, zoom, angles, and configure motion-detection alerts.
3. Maintenance and Servicing
- Routine Inspections: Regularly check cameras, wiring, and power supplies to prevent system failures.
- Cleaning & Upkeep: Clean camera lenses and domes to ensure clear video quality.
- Firmware Updates: Apply software updates and security patches to protect networks against vulnerabilities.
4. Troubleshooting and Repairs
- Fault Diagnosis: Identify the root cause of issues like loss of video feed, blurry images, or power outages.
- Hardware Replacement: Swap out damaged components such as broken cables, faulty cameras, or corrupted hard drives.
5. Client Support and Documentation
