Job Purpose
Ensure reliable plant operations by carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance, supporting production targets, maintaining equipment performance, and ensuring safety and quality during shift operations.
Key Responsibilities
# Execute maintenance activities across rotational shifts and ensure effective shift handover/takeover.
# Attend machine breakdowns promptly, identify root causes, and minimize downtime.
# Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule and maintain related records.
# Coordinate with Production, Quality, Utility, and Stores for smooth plant operations.
# Ensure machine condition does not impact tyre quality and support CAPA activities.
# Follow safety procedures, including LOTO and PPE, and report unsafe conditions.
# Record daily energy meter readings and report abnormal energy consumption.
# Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown history, and shift reports.
# Participate in TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and OEE improvement initiatives.
