Job Title: Surveillance ExecutiveJob Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Surveillance Executive to monitor CCTV systems, ensure the safety and security of the campus/premises, and support the administration by identifying and reporting any security breaches or suspicious activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in CCTV monitoring, strong observation skills, and the ability to respond promptly to incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live CCTV footage and recorded video from multiple surveillance cameras.
- Identify, document, and report suspicious activities, security breaches, and safety concerns.
- Maintain continuous surveillance of all designated areas and ensure uninterrupted monitoring.
- Coordinate with the Security Team, Administration, and other departments during emergencies or incidents.
- Retrieve and review CCTV recordings whenever required for investigations or incident reporting.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly surveillance reports.
- Maintain logs of incidents, equipment status, and surveillance activities.
- Ensure CCTV systems and related equipment are functioning properly and promptly report technical issues.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of surveillance footage and sensitive information.
- Support compliance with organizational safety and security policies.
- Assist in investigations by providing video evidence and detailed observations.
- Ensure proper documentation and secure storage of surveillance records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Certification in CCTV Operations, Security Management, or Surveillance Systems is preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in CCTV monitoring, surveillance operations, or security control room operations.
- Experience in schools, corporate offices, hospitals, residential townships, or large institutions will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Excellent observation and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR operations, and surveillance software.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain alert during long monitoring shifts.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office and email).
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
