Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Production Engineer to manage shop floor operations, production planning, quality control, and timely execution of manufacturing activities. The candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily production plans, work allocation, and progress tracking.
- Convert customer orders into practical manufacturing plans based on fabrication sequence, welding, machining, and inspection requirements.
- Monitor shop floor activities and ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Coordinate manpower deployment across fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly areas.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, WPS, process instructions, and quality standards.
- Coordinate NDT, material movement, painting, inspection, and dispatch activities.
- Monitor welding quality, identify defects, and support corrective actions.
- Maintain production records, reports, and job documentation.
- Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
Qualification & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing/fabrication industry (Oil & Gas/Petrochemical preferred).
- Knowledge of production planning, welding processes, inspection, and quality control.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage shop floor operations and coordinate with multiple teams.
- Knowledge of ERP and production management systems preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
