Role: Social Worker Location: Ludhiana, Punjab
Number of Positions: 1 Reporting Person: Project Director Professional Fees: Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 per month (excluding travel and communication expenses).
Probation Period: 3 months Min.
Qualification: Masters of Social Work or a Graduate in Law with 2 years of experience.
Note: Preference will be given to those with experience working with children and in the community.
Geographical area: District Ludhiana.
Tasks that need to be done to achieve the outcomes of the project and impact envisioned: Provide support, information and guidance to the children in conflict with law, parents/guardians and other stakeholders seeking information on the workings of the juvenile justice system. Provide reference support to the children and parents/guardians on legal and other social support needed for rehabilitation purposes. Provide need-based support to children for rehabilitation(Education/Vocation/De- addiction/After Care/Any other). Conduct Home Visits, prepare and submit Social Investigation Reports, Individual Care Plans Conduct individual and group sessions for children in and out of Institutional Settings. Assist in organizing workshops, training, and awareness events Network with multiple stakeholders and Service Delivery Systems Follow up of Cases. Write reports and maintain records to the requirements of the organization. Any other responsibilities assigned by the organization.
