Salary
- First 3 Months (Probation): ₹5,000 per month
- After Successful Performance Review: ₹15,000 per month
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Product Research & Procurement Executive to join our growing e-commerce team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience identifying profitable products, sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely procurement for online marketplaces.
This is a fully remote position for someone who understands the Indian e-commerce ecosystem and can contribute to business growth through smart product selection and efficient procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Research high-demand and profitable products for e-commerce platforms.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand.
- Source products from manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers.
- Identify new suppliers and build long-term vendor relationships.
- Evaluate product quality, profit margins, and sales potential before procurement.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely stock availability.
- Maintain procurement records, quotations, and supplier databases.
- Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate replenishment.
- Work closely with the catalogue and operations team to launch new products.
- Ensure procurement aligns with business targets and profitability goals.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Research, Product Sourcing, or Procurement for e-commerce businesses.
- Experience sourcing products for marketplaces such as Amazon, Meesho, Flipkart, or Shopify stores.
- Strong understanding of supplier negotiation and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to independently manage procurement activities in a remote work environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
