About the Role
We’re looking for a high-performance Video Editor who understands not just editing—but how content drives results. This role is for someone who can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping ads, high-converting reels, and visually compelling brand content.
You should be equally comfortable working on fast-paced social media edits and polished ad creatives, with a strong grip on storytelling, pacing, and design aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities Video Editing & Production
- Edit high-quality videos for:
- Paid ads (Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok)
- Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media content
- Brand videos, product showcases, and campaigns
- Transform raw footage into engaging, high-retention content
- Apply strong storytelling techniques with attention to hooks, pacing, and transitions
- Handle color correction, grading, and sound design professionally
Performance-Driven Content Creation
- Understand what makes ads convert
- Create multiple variations of creatives for A/B testing
- Optimize videos based on:
- Retention graphs
- CTR and engagement metrics
- Stay updated with trending formats, hooks, and viral editing styles
Graphic Design & Motion
- Create supporting visuals like:
- Thumbnails
- Motion graphics
- Text overlays
- Ad creatives
- Design clean, modern layouts aligned with brand guidelines
- Use motion graphics to enhance storytelling and engagement
Tools & Software Expertise
Must be highly proficient in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects (advanced motion graphics & animations)
- Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
- DaVinci Resolve (color grading)
- Adobe Creative Cloud ecosystem
Bonus:
- Basic knowledge of sound design tools
- Familiarity with AI tools for video editing (Runway, etc.)
Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of experience in video editing (agency experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of:
- Visual storytelling
- Social media trends
- Ad psychology & hook creation
- Ability to work fast without compromising quality
- Strong sense of design, typography, and color theory
- Experience editing for D2C brands, performance marketing, or social media-heavy brands
