The QA Engineer is a team member of installed base digital capability. Design and execute both manual and automated test strategies for various software products and data integration flows. • Identify and prioritize software defects and inconsistencies for rectification. • Ensure that all tests are conducted and documented in accordance with the company's standards. • Analyze the results of tests and provide feedback to the development teams. • Drive continuous improvements in QA processes and tools. Qualifications • 5+ years’ experience working in QA, especially testing API and UI functionalities, and experience in Automation Testing in Python is required. • 2+ years of experience in any API testing. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent (technical background required) • Profound knowledge of AWS, Python, API Testing and GitFlow. • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing, as well as automated testing tools. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively. • Familiarity with Agile frameworks. • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey intricate systems and methods to a non-technical audience. • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Experience managing AWS pipelines automation server is a plus. Skills • Due to the nature of this position sitting on a global team, fluent English communication skills (written & spoken) is required. • Ability to effectively manage priorities. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Initiative to uncover and solve problems proactively. • Ability to understand complex software development environments.
