Job Title: Turner
Job Summary:
Operate and set up conventional lathe machines to manufacture precision valve components as per engineering drawings, ensuring dimensional accuracy, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up conventional lathe (turning) machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Perform turning, facing, boring, threading, drilling, and grooving operations.
- Measure components using micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gauges, and dial gauges.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and tool changes.
- Follow safety, quality, and 5S standards.
- Maintain production and inspection records.
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 2–8 years as a Turner in the valve, pump, heavy engineering, or precision machining industry.
Skills: Knowledge of conventional lathe operations, engineering drawings, precision measuring instruments, machining tolerances, and quality inspection.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
