We Do Effects is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing team. If you have a strong rhythm for music videos, an eye for high-converting ads, and know exactly how to hook an audience on social media reels, we want to see your portfolio.
You will be responsible for bringing raw footage to life, combining pacing, sound design, and motion graphics to create compelling visual stories across multiple formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Reels: Edit engaging, fast-paced vertical video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) optimized for retention and current platform trends.
- Commercial Ads: Produce high-quality, conversion-focused video advertisements for various digital campaigns and brands.
- Music Videos: Edit dynamic music videos, ensuring precise audio-visual syncing, creative pacing, and compelling narrative flow.
- Post-Production: Handle color grading, audio mixing, and basic sound design to ensure all deliverables meet professional standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with directors, producers, and the broader creative team to bring the project vision to life from rough cut to final export.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of professional video editing experience.
- Software Mastery: Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Portfolio: A strong showreel or portfolio specifically demonstrating past work in reels, ads, and music videos.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and export settings for various digital platforms.
- Soft Skills: Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
