Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Senior Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent mixology skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to lead bar operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The Senior Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining bar standards, supervising junior bar staff, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Supervise and guide bartenders and bar assistants during shifts.
- Ensure the bar is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing team for replenishment.
- Minimize wastage and ensure proper handling of beverages and bar supplies.
- Verify guests' legal drinking age and ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company policies.
- Handle guest queries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Assist in developing new cocktail menus and seasonal beverage offerings.
- Support daily opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and bar reconciliation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Hospitality or Hotel Management qualification is an advantage.
- Professional bartending or mixology certification is preferred.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of bartending experience in a senior or supervisory role.
- Experience in hotels, fine dining restaurants, premium bars, or hospitality establishments is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and mixology techniques.
