Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Freshers with strong design knowledge and software skills are encouraged to apply. Software Skills
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D drafting and manufacturing drawings.
- Hands-on experience in SolidWorks for 3D part modeling and assembly creation.
- Familiarity with Fusion 360 for mechanical design, concept modeling, and product development.
- Basic understanding of CAD file management, drawing exports, and revision handling.
Mechanical Design Knowledge
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) concepts.
- Understanding of orthographic projections, sectional views, assembly drawings, and tolerance stack-up.
- Basic knowledge of materials, sheet metal concepts, machining, and fabrication methods is an added advantage.
Design & Problem-Solving Ability
- Strong visualization and spatial understanding for product layout planning.
- Ability to analyze component fitment, alignment, and assembly feasibility.
- Attention to detail in dimensions, tolerances, and drawing accuracy.
- Ability to identify practical design improvements and manufacturing-friendly solutions.
Personal Skills
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and design methodologies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup and manufacturing environment.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
