Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive with 0–2 years of experience in the nutraceutical or allied industries. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, packaging materials, and vendor coordination to ensure timely procurement at competitive prices while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure nutraceutical raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Maintain purchase orders, vendor database, and procurement records in ERP/software.
Monitor inventory levels and raise purchase requisitions as per production demand.
Coordinate with production, QA, QC, and R&D teams for material requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve vendor-related issues.
Assist in vendor evaluation, audits, and compliance with industry standards.
Track market trends and pricing for nutraceutical ingredients.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
Knowledge of nutraceutical raw materials and packaging (preferred).
Strong communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate in Commerce, Science, Pharma, or related field.
Freshers with strong interest in procurement will also be considered.
Internship or prior experience in procurement/supply chain (advantageous).
