Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in DBT, Snowflake, and SQL. The ideal candidate should have experience in building scalable data models, managing modern data warehouses, implementing data quality frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements1. Strong SQL & DBT Expertise
- Experience building and maintaining scalable data models using DBT.
- Proficient in:
- Modular SQL development
- Jinja templating
- DBT testing strategies
- DBT best practices
2. Data Warehouse Proficiency
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including:
- Dimensional Modeling
- Data Vault Modeling
- Star Schema & Snowflake Schema Design
- Performance Optimization
- Query Tuning
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Security Management
3. Data Pipeline & Integration Tools
- Experience with Kafka (or similar event-streaming platforms) for real-time data ingestion.
- Familiarity with SnapLogic for:
- ETL/ELT workflow design
- Pipeline orchestration
- Monitoring and maintenance
4. Version Control & Automation
- Strong experience with Git and GitHub for source code management and collaboration.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools for:
- Automated DBT testing
- Deployment pipelines
- Documentation updates
5. Data Quality & Governance
- Strong understanding of:
- Data validation techniques
- DBT testing frameworks
- Data lineage tracking
- Focus on ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and trust across pipelines and models.
6. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements.
- Deliver actionable insights and data solutions.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple, business-friendly language.
7. Documentation & Communication
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for:
- Data models
- Metrics
- Data transformations
- Experience with DBT Docs or similar documentation tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and functions.
8. Problem-Solving & Ownership
- Proactively identify and resolve data issues and gaps.
- Take ownership of data engineering initiatives.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
