- Customer Service:
- Greet and seat customers.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Answer customer questions about the menu and specials.
- Address customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
- Provide recommendations and upsell appetizers, desserts, or drinks.
- Order Taking and Execution:
- Communicate orders to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
- Ensure food and drinks are delivered correctly.
- Table Management:
- Set tables with appropriate cutlery, glassware, and linens.
- Clear tables promptly and reset them for the next customers.
- Maintain a clean and tidy dining area.
- Financial Transactions:
- Handle cash and credit card payments accurately.
- Process payments and make change.
- Other Duties:
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
- Restock supplies as necessary.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Skills:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menu.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
