We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Assistant Professor of Statistics to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, developing course materials, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to departmental and institutional academic activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong statistical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts using practical applications and statistical software.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Statistics.
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and seminars.
- Prepare lesson plans, course content, assignments, and examination papers.
- Evaluate students through assessments, projects, practicals, and examinations.
- Guide students in academic projects, internships, and research activities.
- Conduct research and publish papers in reputed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development aligned with university guidelines.
- Integrate statistical software and programming tools into teaching.
- Organize workshops, guest lectures, seminars, and faculty development programs.
- Mentor students regarding academics and career opportunities.
- Maintain attendance, internal assessment records, and academic documentation.
- Participate in accreditation activities such as NAAC, NBA, or autonomous compliance.
- Serve on departmental committees and contribute to institutional development.
- Stay updated with advancements in Statistics, Data Science, AI, and Analytics.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
