CNC Setter & Programmer (2 Vacancies)
Job Description
We are looking for CNC Setter & Programmers to join our manufacturing team in the Greater Chennai Area. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC Turning and VMC machines.
- Create and edit CNC programs.
- Read engineering drawings.
- Set tools, offsets, and fixtures.
- Check the first component before production.
- Monitor product quality during machining.
- Make program and offset corrections when required.
- Achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain machines, tools, and measuring instruments.
- Follow quality, safety, and 5S standards.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams.
Qualifications
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related trade.
- 8–10 years of experience in CNC setting and programming.
- Knowledge of CNC Turning and VMC machines.
- Knowledge of G & M Code programming.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Experience using measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Bore Gauge.
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
