Job Title : Retail Category - Executive
Location: Karapakkam, OMR, Chennai.
Job Responsibilities
- Source products from suppliers and manage the end-to-end buying process.
- Build and manage a compelling selection aligned with customer preferences and market demand.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to obtain best deals.
- Introduce new brands and manage relationships with suppliers.
- Handle all commercial aspects including pricing, profitability, and margin management.
- Oversee offers, and promotions from brands and ensure smooth execution
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure effective in-store presentation and displays.
- Ensure product listings are optimized for visibility and conversions.
- Analyse market trends and customer preferences to stay updated in the market
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitive activities
- Develop and implement strategies for category growth and best contribution
- Constantly monitor and track on key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to the category
- Be active in terms of looking for opportunity for category improvements in all aspect.
- Manage day-to-day category operations and ensure seamless processes
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to oversee inventory management
- Collaborate with product team and internal teams for appropriate merchandising and app features, to boost conversion
Eligibility
- Qualification : Fashion Designers / MBA’s can also apply
- Age : Between 24 – 30 years
- Sex : Male / Female
- Experience : 3 years in product sourcing and management / Fresher’s can also apply
- Good communication skills in Tamil & English. Hindi speaking knowledge will be an advantage.
- Computer Knowledge with data analytical skill
- Friendly personality, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
