Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chip-Level Mobile Technician specializing in iOS and Android devices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing smartphones at the motherboard (PCB) level, including micro-soldering, IC replacement, and advanced fault troubleshooting. This role requires strong technical expertise, precision, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair hardware issues in iOS and Android smartphones at chip level.
Perform micro-soldering, reballing, and replacement of ICs, CPUs, power ICs, charging ICs, audio ICs, and other motherboard components.
Troubleshoot no power, no display, no network, no charging, boot loop, and water-damaged devices.
Use advanced repair tools such as hot air stations, microscopes, DC power supplies, multimeters, and BGA rework stations.
Repair damaged PCB tracks and perform jumper work.
Flash, unlock, and update firmware for both iOS and Android devices.
Ensure all repairs meet quality standards before device handover.
Maintain proper documentation of repairs and parts used.
Keep up to date with latest smartphone technologies and repair techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a chip-level mobile technician.
Strong knowledge of smartphone motherboard architecture.
Expertise in micro-soldering and SMD component replacement.
Ability to read and understand board schematics and layouts.
Familiarity with iOS and Android operating systems.
Experience with ESD-safe repair practices.
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and steady hand coordination.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in mobile phone repair or electronics.
Experience working with leading brands such as Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, and OnePlus.
Experience handling bulk repair workloads in service centers.
Basic knowledge of inventory and spare parts management.
Working Conditions
