Job Summary
Delhi Hospital is looking for an experienced and responsible Kitchen Supervisor to manage daily kitchen operations, food hygiene, staff coordination, and patient meal quality. The candidate should ensure timely preparation and distribution of meals according to hospital standards and dietary requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen activities and kitchen staff
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and food storage areas
- Monitor food preparation as per hospital diet plans
- Maintain food quality, taste, and portion control
- Ensure timely meal distribution to patients and staff
- Check raw material quality and stock availability
- Maintain kitchen inventory and consumption records
- Coordinate with dieticians and hospital administration
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and hospital safety standards
- Handle kitchen equipment maintenance and reporting
- Train kitchen helpers and support staff on hygiene practices
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety
- Leadership and staff management skills
- Understanding of hospital dietary requirements
- Basic inventory and record management
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
- Good communication and discipline
Qualification
- Minimum 1-5 years experience in hospital, hotel, or institutional kitchen
