Job Summary
The Petrol Bunk Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring daily fuel sales, handling cash and banking transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily fuel sales, lubricant sales, and other revenue transactions.
- Prepare daily cash, card, UPI, and credit sales reconciliation.
- Verify fuel stock, dip readings, and sales reports.
- Maintain purchase, sales, and expense records.
- Handle cash collection, petty cash, and bank deposits.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and customer/vendor accounts.
- Process invoices and maintain proper documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure statutory compliance.
- Monitor outstanding credit customers and follow up for collections.
- Assist in payroll and employee reimbursement processing, if required.
- Ensure accuracy in accounting software entries and maintain proper records.
- Report any financial discrepancies to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Accounting.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (experience in a petrol bunk is preferred).
- Knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and basic accounting principles.
- Familiarity with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance is an advantage.
Skills Required

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
