Job Title: PC Planning Engineer
Department: Production Control / Planning
Location: Neemrana, Rajasthan
Reporting To: Manager – Production Control / Planning
Job Purpose
To ensure effective production planning, material coordination, and customer schedule management to support timely and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with customers for schedule confirmation and changes.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) based on drawings and customer requirements.
- Ensure availability of raw materials as per production plan.
- Prepare and monitor production plans in line with customer demand.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, and Quality departments.
- Track daily production status and update planning reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and control excess or shortage of materials.
- Support dispatch planning to meet customer delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate planning data and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company systems, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Diploma / BE / BTech (Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering preferred)
- Experience: 2–5 years in Production Planning / PC role (Automotive industry preferred)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC)
- Good understanding of BOM, MRP, and scheduling
- Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
