We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Stores Incharge for our fabrication industry operations. The candidate should have experience in handling steel materials, fabrication consumables, inventory control, inward/outward processes, and coordination with production & purchase departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day store operations in fabrication unit
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials
- Maintain stock of steel plates, pipes, fittings, welding consumables, hardware items, etc.
- Issue materials to production as per requirement
- Maintain inward/outward registers, GRN, stock reports, and documentation
- Monitor minimum stock levels and coordinate for material purchase
- Conduct physical stock verification and inventory audits
- Ensure proper material identification and storage arrangement
- Maintain cleanliness and safety inside store area
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and accounts departments
Requirements:
- Experience in fabrication / engineering / manufacturing industry preferred
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory handling
- Good understanding of material management and stock control
- Ability to maintain records accurately
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Diploma / Any Degree preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of steel and fabrication materials
- ERP/software handling knowledge is an added advantage
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
