Job Summary
The Nursing Educator is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care. The role focuses on continuous skill development, clinical competency, and adherence to hospital protocols and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver orientation programs for newly recruited nursing staff
- Conduct ongoing in-service education and training sessions
- Assess training needs and develop competency-based learning modules
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, protocols, and accreditation requirements
- Organize workshops, seminars, and skill-based training programs
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and clinical skills of nursing staff
- Maintain records of training, attendance, and competency assessments
- Collaborate with clinical departments to update training content
- Promote evidence-based nursing practices
- Support quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Mentor and guide nursing staff for professional development
Qualifications & Requirements
- M.Sc. Nursing
- Valid nursing registration with State Nursing Council
- 3–5 years of teaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing procedures and patient care standards
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
