Job Summary
We are looking for a disciplined and responsible Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of the campus, employees, students, visitors, and assets. The candidate should be vigilant, physically fit, and capable of handling emergency situations professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure the campus premises, buildings, and entry/exit points.
- Verify the identity of visitors and maintain visitor records.
- Conduct regular patrols to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Ensure smooth vehicle movement and parking within the campus.
- Report security incidents, accidents, or suspicious activities immediately.
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to security alerts.
- Assist during emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, or evacuations.
- Maintain daily security logs and submit incident reports.
- Coordinate with the administration and local authorities when required.
- Ensure adherence to campus security policies and procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Minimum 10th Pass (12th Pass preferred)
- Experience: 1–3 years in security services
- Preference: Ex-Servicemen/Retired Army personnel will be given preference.
- Experience in educational institutions, hospitals, or commercial establishments is an added advantage.
Skills Required
- Good observation and vigilance.
- Basic communication skills in Tamil (English is an added advantage).
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights and holidays.
- Physically fit with a disciplined attitude.
- Basic knowledge of firefighting and emergency response is preferred.
Salary
- ₹16,000 per month (Based on experience and performance)
