Job Title: Civil QA/QC Site Engineer
Job Description:
- Inspect civil works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Conduct material inspections and verify quality before use.
- Monitor site activities and workmanship to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents, inspection reports, checklists, and test records.
- Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Raise and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor corrective actions.
- Witness field and laboratory tests for concrete, soil, steel, and other construction materials.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
- Review method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
- Support project teams in resolving quality-related issues and achieving timely project completion.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of civil construction methods and QA/QC procedures.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with IS codes, ASTM, or other relevant standards.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Typical Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2–8 years of site QA/QC experience (depending on the role).
