About the Role
Jhonka Solutions Private Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HVAC Project Engineer to oversee the execution, installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating with clients and contractors, ensuring project completion within timelines, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Manage HVAC projects from initiation to commissioning and handover.
- Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
Site Management
- Supervise installation of HVAC systems, including ducting, piping, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, ventilation, and exhaust systems.
- Ensure all activities are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.
- Resolve technical and operational issues at the project site.
Testing & Commissioning
- Plan and supervise testing, balancing, and commissioning activities.
- Verify system performance and compliance with design requirements.
- Prepare commissioning reports and handover documentation.
Coordination & Documentation
- Review technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Track material requirements and coordinate procurement activities.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly project reports.
- Prepare project billing, measurements, and work completion records.
Quality & Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards and HVAC best practices.
- Implement and monitor safety procedures at project sites.
- Conduct quality checks and coordinate corrective actions when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–10+ years of experience in HVAC project execution and management.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, hospitality, and residential projects preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.
- Knowledge of testing, balancing, and commissioning procedures.
- Understanding of project planning, costing, and execution methodologies.
