Education & Qualification
- ITI Electrician / ITI Wireman
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DME)
- BE / B.Tech – Electrical Engineering
Experience
- 2 – 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance
- Must have experience in manufacturing / plant environment
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor all electrical equipment:
- Motors, control panels, transformers
- DG sets and lighting systems
- Power Distribution Boards (PDBs)
- HT / LT panels and distribution yard
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults in panels, machines and motors
- Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Maintain stock of electrical spares such as contactors, relays, cables, etc.
- Keep proper maintenance records and breakdown reports
- Coordinate with vendors for services and material procurement
- Ensure minimum downtime and smooth plant operations
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of electrical machines and panels
- Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Hands-on industrial maintenance experience
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and compliance
- Ability to work independently
- Basic documentation and reporting skills
