We are a manufacturing setup in Hyderabad looking for a skilled CNC Designer & Programmer with expertise in AutoCAD and ArtCAM. The ideal candidate will handle the complete workflow from design creation to generating final machine codes for our CNC routers. You must be physically present at our facility to coordinate with the machine operator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify 2D technical drawings/layouts using AutoCAD.
- Model detailed 2D/3D reliefs, jali designs, and textures using ArtCAM.
- Perform efficient nesting to minimize material wastage.
- Generate accurate G-codes/toolpaths (V-carving, profiling, pocketing) for the machine.
- Coordinate directly with shop-floor operators to ensure error-free cutting and minimize tool breakage.
Required Candidate Profile:
- Education: ITI, Diploma, or B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering (Certification from CITD or similar institutes is a big plus).
- Software Skills: Hands-on experience in ArtCAM (Delcam/Autodesk) and AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of working with CNC routers, woodworking, or sheet metal design.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of cutting tools, feed rates, spindle speeds, and materials (MDF, Wood, Acrylic, WPC).
- Languages: Telugu and Hindi/English.
