About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance processes. The selected candidate will work closely with the development and QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in testing web and mobile applications.
- Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing of software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers and project teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain testing documentation and reports.
- Participate in team meetings and quality review activities.
- Learn and follow QA processes and best practices.
Required Skills
· Completion of a software testing course or certification program of at least 3 months duration is preferred
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Basic knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with manual testing concepts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Jira is a plus.
- Basic understanding of SQL and databases is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies is desirable.
