Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications on the Mendix low-code platform.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Build microflows, nanoflows, domain models, UI pages, and custom widgets as needed.
- Integrate Mendix applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, OData, and other services.
- Implement best practices related to performance optimization, reusable components, security, and application scalability.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, testers, product owners, and business analysts.
- Lead design discussions, contribute to solution architecture, and ensure Mendix development standards are followed (for senior roles).
- Manage deployments across environments and work with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4–14 years of total IT experience with at least 3 years hands-on in Mendix (more for senior roles).
- Strong understanding of Mendix App Model, Microflows, Domain Models, Data Management, Security, and UI.
- Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Java actions, and external databases.
- Good understanding of software design patterns, architecture principles, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Mendix Rapid Developer / Intermediate / Advanced / Expert certification is a strong plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
