We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, analyze project requirements, and support the bidding and execution process. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and experience in preparing budgets, quotations, and cost analyses to ensure competitive and profitable project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on drawings, specifications, BOQs, and client requirements.
- Analyze project scope and identify cost-related risks and opportunities.
- Review tender documents and prepare technical and commercial cost estimates.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors and evaluate their commercial offers.
- Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and quantity calculations.
- Develop project budgets and monitor estimated versus actual costs.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams during the estimation process.
- Maintain historical cost databases and estimation templates.
- Support bid submissions by preparing pricing documents and cost summaries.
- Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.
