About the Role
You shoot stills. You move the camera. Both. On the same day when needed. This is not a specialization role. We need one person who can handle the full visual capture side of a shoot independently, from pre-production to file delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot commercial photography across product, portrait, brand, and architecture
- Capture brand films, social reels, event coverage, and property walkthroughs
- Set up and operate lighting rigs independently on location
- Work from shot lists prepared with the creative team before every shoot
- Deliver organized, labeled, ready-to-edit files the same day
- Coordinate with editors and designers during post-production handoff
- Scout locations when required
- Work under tight timelines without compromising output quality
Required Skills
- Camera operation across stills and video on professional-grade systems (Sony, Canon, or equivalent)
- Lighting setup and control, both natural and artificial, studio and on-location
- Composition and framing for commercial and editorial contexts
- Color temperature management and exposure control
- Basic video editing and selects assembly in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- File organization and same-day delivery workflow
- Client communication on set
Good to Have
- Licensed drone operation
- Experience with gimbals and stabilizers
- Familiarity with Adobe Lightroom for photo culling
- Prior experience in real estate or architecture shoots
Requirements
- 3+ years of dual-role commercial work
- Portfolio demonstrating both photography and video at a professional brand level
- Own gear preferred. Reliable hire-out gear is acceptable if budgeted
- Diploma or degree in Photography, Film, Visual Arts, or equivalent professional experience
