We are seeking a Consultant to join the Retirement Plan Consulting (RPC) practice in our Mumbai office. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and provides clients with exceptional services.

What work you will be responsible for:
Assist in performing annual compliance testing for defined contribution plans (e.g., ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, Coverage testing)
Support preparation and validation of data for Form 5500 filings
Review participant census data and identify discrepancies
Assist in contribution calculations, allocation processes, and reconciliation activities
Ensure compliance with ERISA and Internal Revenue Service guidelines
Coordinate with internal teams and clients to gather required information
Working with managers and partners on client communication and practice development
Adhere to all professional and firm requirements, including confidentiality standards, time entry procedures, audit quality documentation, and any other related guidelines and polices.
Ensure compliance with required Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours to mee firm and licensing standards
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, MBA Finance, Accounting, or related field
Understanding of US retirement plans (401(k), pension concepts)
0 to 2 years of 401(k) experience with any US Firm.
Exposure to US retirement processes or compliance testing (academic/project level)
Knowledge of Form 5500 reporting basics
Certifications or interest in retirement-related credentials (e.g., QKA, ASPPA)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, data handling).
Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
