3. DB Backend Lead (PL/SQL)
Role Overview
Lead database modernization and optimization efforts focusing on PL/SQL re-engineering, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Ensure seamless integration with middleware and frontend layers while leveraging AWS KIRO for automation and SDLC enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
Design and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages
Lead rewriting of stored procedures and inline SQL optimization
Ensure database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
Handle large datasets and transaction-heavy systems
Collaborate with middleware team for API integrations
Implement best practices for data integrity and governance
Leverage AWS KIRO for automation, testing, and development acceleration
Required Skills
6+ years of PL/SQL development experience
Expertise in Oracle databases (12c/19c+)
Strong SQL and performance tuning skills
Experience in stored procedures and large-scale DB systems
Hands-on experience with AWS KIRO (mandatory)
Preferred Skills
Experience in database migration and modernization
Exposure to cloud database platforms
Knowledge of ETL/data integration tools
