Senior HR Assistant – US Recruitment
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Work from Office)
Shift Timing: US Shift – 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior HR Assistant with hands-on experience in US Recruitment to support talent acquisition, employee engagement, HR operations, and recruitment activities for our US-based clients. The ideal candidate should have strong sourcing capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively during US business hours.
Key ResponsibilitiesUS Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for US-based positions.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and other job portals.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and clients.
- Maintain candidate pipelines and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Negotiate compensation, availability, and onboarding timelines.
- Track recruitment KPIs and hiring metrics.
HR Operations
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Support attendance, leave management, and employee database updates.
- Coordinate employee engagement and performance management activities.
- Ensure compliance with company HR policies and procedures.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment reports.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and department heads regarding staffing needs.
- Maintain recruitment trackers, interview schedules, and candidate status reports.
- Support HR leadership in strategic hiring initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in HR and US Recruitment.
- Strong understanding of US hiring processes and recruitment methodologies.
- Experience working with ATS platforms and recruitment tools.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.
Preferred Skills
- Experience recruiting for IT, Healthcare, Pharma, Finance, or Non-IT positions in the US market.
- Knowledge of Boolean search techniques and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Understanding of US employment terminology, work authorizations, and recruitment compliance.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
