NewLaVie is a growing innovator in advanced LED lighting solutions, serving commercial, industrial, and architectural projects globally. We are seeking a talented and motivated LED Lighting Applications Engineer to join our international engineering team supporting projects across North America and Asia.
Position Overview
The LED Lighting Applications Engineer will play a critical role in transforming project requirements into optimized, energy-efficient, and code-compliant lighting solutions. This position combines lighting design, technical engineering, project execution, and customer-facing support.
Key Responsibilities:
Lighting Design & Analysis
- Develop indoor and outdoor lighting calculations using AGi32, Visual, Dialux Evo, or similar photometric software.
- Perform point-by-point photometric analysis and lighting simulations.
- Create lighting layouts, fixture schedules, and design documentation.
Engineering & Technical Support
- Review architectural and electrical drawings to recommend suitable LED fixtures, drivers, optics, and control systems.
- Prepare technical submittals, specifications, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with sales, project managers, and clients to deliver optimal lighting solutions.
Project Execution
- Support project implementation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with fixture aiming, lighting adjustments, and performance verification.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure designs comply with relevant energy efficiency and safety standards, including ASHRAE, LEED, UL, IEC, and local regulations.
- Support sustainability initiatives and energy-saving calculations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Lighting Design, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in lighting design, LED applications, electrical engineering, or related industries.
- Proficiency in AGi32, Dialux Evo, Visual, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Strong understanding of LED lighting systems, photometric principles, and lighting controls.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to interpret architectural and electrical drawings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lighting Certified (LC), LEED Green Associate/AP, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with DALI, 0-10V dimming, occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting, and smart lighting systems.
- Knowledge of IoT-enabled lighting solutions and building automation systems.
- Understanding of LED thermal management, optics, and luminaire design.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
