ExtraLearn – A Freelance Educational Marketplace by SiteSign, is seeking knowledgeable and passionate Online Psychology Tutors (Freelance) to provide quality learning support to students across different academic levels. This is a flexible, work-from-home opportunity for educators, psychology experts, and professionals dedicated to helping learners understand human behavior, mental processes, psychological theories, and research methods while achieving academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online Psychology tutoring sessions for students of different grades, levels, and learning backgrounds.
- Teach fundamental and advanced Psychology concepts, including cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, abnormal psychology, personality theories, psychological research methods, learning theories, and other relevant topics based on the student’s curriculum and academic requirements.
- Develop personalized lesson plans according to students’ learning needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Explain complex psychological concepts using engaging, practical, and interactive teaching methods, including case studies, real-life examples, discussions, and research-based approaches.
- Assign practice exercises, projects, assignments, assessments, and homework to monitor student progress.
- Evaluate students’ performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and academic performance.
- Create an engaging, supportive, and student-centered virtual learning environment.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and effective communication with students through the ExtraLearn platform.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Education, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of psychological theories, human behavior, and research principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching abilities.
- Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, training, or online instruction will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, digital whiteboards, presentation tools, or other educational technologies.
- Ability to explain complex psychological concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods according to different learning styles.
- Relevant teaching certifications, advanced qualifications, or professional experience in Psychology education will be an added advantage.
