ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a motivated Intern/Junior Admin and Accounts to support the day-to-day administrative and accounting operations of the office. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with documentation, vendor coordination, and basic bookkeeping tasks under the guidance of the Admin and Accounts team.
This role offers hands-on exposure to office administration and finance operations, with an emphasis on accuracy, reliability, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with maintaining office administrative records and documentation.
- Support invoice processing, expense tracking and basic bookkeeping entries.
- Coordinate with vendors for office supplies, facility needs and service payments.
- Help maintain employee records, attendance logs and on-boarding documentation.
- Assist in preparing basic financial reports and reconciliations under supervision.
- Support scheduling, travel arrangements and meeting coordination as needed.
- Maintain filing systems for contracts, invoices and administrative documents.
- Assist with data entry into accounting or ERP systems.
- Provide general administrative support to the operations and finance teams.
- Support purchase requests and basic petty cash record keeping.
- Assist with maintaining the office asset register.
- Support document digitization and archival tasks.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- A degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, data entry, simple formatting).
- Comfortable with MS Office / Google Workspace (Word, Docs, email, calendars).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with repetitive documentation tasks.
- Willingness to learn accounting or ERP software on the job.
- Trustworthy and comfortable handling confidential information responsibly.
- Punctual and reliable, with the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Coursework in accounting, bookkeeping, or business finance (not mandatory).
- Basic familiarity with any accounting or ERP tool (e.g. Tally, Zoho Books).
- Prior part-time, project, or academic experience involving coordination or record-keeping.
NICE TO HAVE
- Genuine interest in building a career in finance, accounting, or business operations.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to take on new tasks.
- Basic typing speed and comfort with digital filing or data organization.
