The Electrical Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the cinema theatre to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Maintain lighting systems in auditoriums, lobby areas, parking areas, and offices.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, wiring issues, and power failures.
- Monitor and maintain DG sets, UPS systems, electrical panels, and transformers.
- Ensure proper functioning of air-conditioning electrical components.
- Attend emergency breakdowns and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Coordinate with external vendors for major electrical repairs and servicing.
- Follow electrical safety standards and company policies.
- Support theatre operations during movie screenings and special events.
Requirements
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance (Cinema, Mall, Hotel, or Commercial Buildings preferred).
- Knowledge of electrical panels, DG sets, UPS, lighting systems, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to identify and rectify electrical faults independently.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
