Job Title: C License Holder - Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and qualified C License Holder to oversee and manage all electrical repair and maintenance activities at our factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems, including machines, motors, HT lines, VCB works, and other electrical infrastructure within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Maintenance & Repair:
- Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs for all electrical equipment, including motors, switchgear, transformers, and control panels.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
- HT Line & VCB Maintenance:
- Handle the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of High Tension (HT) power lines and Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCB).
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for HT power distribution systems.
- Machine & Motor Maintenance:
- Diagnose and repair faults in industrial machinery, motors, drives, and PLC-controlled systems.
- Conduct regular load testing and performance checks for motors and electrical panels.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all electrical installations and maintenance activities comply with government regulations and factory safety norms.
- Maintain necessary records, logs, and documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Implement electrical safety procedures and ensure adherence to safe work practices by all personnel.
- Breakdown Management & Emergency Response:
- Respond to breakdowns promptly, identify root causes, and implement solutions to minimize production loss.
- Coordinate with external service providers if required for major repairs and upgrades.
- Electrical Infrastructure & Upgrades:
- Plan and execute electrical system upgrades, expansions, and modifications as per factory requirements.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines and electrical components.
- Inventory & Spare Management:
- Maintain an inventory of electrical spares and consumables to ensure timely availability of critical parts.
- Coordinate with the purchase department for procurement of necessary materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid C License in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
- Strong knowledge of HT & LT power systems, transformers, switchgear, and control panels.
- Expertise in troubleshooting industrial motors, drives, and automated machinery.
- Familiarity with electrical safety codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and circuit diagrams.
- Hands-on experience in VCB operations and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and team coordination skills.
