Our client, a founder of a US-based company (LLC, Miami) is building technology and AI-driven services for small businesses across North America — starting in Florida, then expanding through the US and Canada. We are looking for one exceptional person in India to be her right hand: a strategist and operator who thinks like a partner, not an employee.
This is not a role that already exists with a tidy job description. We'll shape it together. If you've spent a decade in corporate life building real things and there's a quiet voice asking “shouldn't I be building something of my own?” — read on.
Two non-negotiables (please read before applying)
Full US Eastern Time overlap. This role runs on US EST hours, every working day — not a couple of overlapping hours, the full day. In India, that means a 6:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST working day. Our clients, our momentum, and our future are in North America, so your day is aligned to theirs. This is non-negotiable, so please apply only if this schedule genuinely works for your life.
All in, or not at all. We want someone ready to commit 100% — not someone holding on to a current job and testing this on the side to see if it works out. That mindset can't build a company; it keeps one foot on the shore. Building this needs your full focus, energy, and conviction. If you're not ready to go all in, this honestly isn't the role for you — and that's completely okay.
Who we are looking for
- 30–35 years old, roughly 10+ years of experience, and restless for your next chapter.
- Software + MBA background. You've actually built things — apps, systems, platforms — and then went deeper into the business side. You speak engineering and strategy fluently.
- Strong with numbers. P&Ls, pricing models, unit economics, forecasts — you're comfortable, even happy, living inside a spreadsheet, and you catch the mistake in the model.
- Experience with US / Canada / global clients. You know the rhythm, standards, and trust it takes to work with North American businesses.
- A genuine AI enthusiast who's past the hype and has real opinions on where AI creates leverage for a lean services business.
- Ex-corporate but wired to build. You've delivered inside big companies and now want to create something of your own — with the grit to build even on hard days.
- Conviction to sell. You believe small businesses in North America are underserved by technology, and you want to help win and grow that market, Florida first.
What you'll do
- Turn vision into strategy, milestones, and a real execution roadmap.
- Own the numbers — build and run the models and tell me the truth about what's working.
- Help build our North America engine: how we find, win, and keep small-business clients.
- Bring order to early-stage chaos as we grow — systems, standards, hiring, culture.
- Be my thinking partner: stress-test my ideas, argue with me, and never be a yes-person.
Compensation
- Base: ₹1,00,000 per month (independent contractor), with clear intent to grow it as the company grows.
- Ownership: a meaningful equity stake in the company, earned and vested over time — real ownership, not a token.
- Profit share: a defined share of company profits once we're profitable.
- Full specifics (equity %, vesting, profit-share, buyback) are shared privately with shortlisted candidates.
This is a deliberate early-stage trade: modest cash today, real ownership and upside in what we build together.
