Job Summary
Catalyst Education is seeking an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive business growth, generate admissions, and expand strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in the EdTech industry, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase student admissions.
- Build strong relationships with schools, colleges, educational institutions, and corporate partners.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and institutional tie-ups.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to admission closure.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Coordinate with the marketing and academic teams to maximize lead conversions.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and CRM database.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the organization at educational events, seminars, and career fairs.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of Business Development or Sales experience in the EdTech industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of B2B and B2C sales.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
