Key Responsibilities
Hospital Information Systems (HIS) Management
- Manage and maintain Hospital Information Systems (HIS/HMIS).
- Ensure smooth functioning of OP, IP, Billing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, OT, Nursing, and EMR modules.
- Coordinate with software vendors for upgrades, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and user adoption.
IT Infrastructure Management
- Manage servers, storage systems, networks, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and cloud services.
- Ensure high availability of critical hospital applications and systems.
- Maintain IT assets, hardware inventory, and software licenses.
- Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Cyber security & Compliance
- Implement cyber security policies and best practices.
- Monitor network security, antivirus, endpoint protection, and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, data privacy requirements, and hospital IT policies.
- Conduct periodic security audits and risk assessments.
User Support & Training
- Lead IT helpdesk operations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Provide technical support to doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.
- Conduct user training programs for HIS and other hospital applications.
- Develop SOPs and user manuals.
Vendor & Project Management
- Manage relationships with software, hardware, and telecom vendors.
- Lead IT projects, system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Monitor vendor SLAs and service quality.
- Prepare and manage IT budgets and procurement plans.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology (IT)
- Software Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Related technical fields
- Prior experience in healthcare IT and HIS/HMS administration.
- 3–8 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
