About the Role
Riser is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for our digital and media services portfolio.
We are specifically looking for professionals currently working with digital marketing agencies, media agencies, creative agencies, branding firms, or advertising agencies who understand the dynamics of selling marketing solutions and building long-term client relationships.
This is a target-driven role for someone with strong market connections, an existing network of founders and decision-makers, and the ability to generate opportunities from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new client acquisition for digital, media, content, branding, and performance marketing services.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, outreach, and industry connections.
- Identify and engage founders, CXOs, marketing heads, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and pitches to showcase agency capabilities and solutions.
- Develop customized proposals, commercial models, and retainer agreements.
- Negotiate contracts and successfully close new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with strategy and delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Identify account growth opportunities and expand existing client relationships.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 1–2 years of business development or sales experience within a digital marketing, media, creative, branding, or advertising agency.
- Proven track record of acquiring and managing high-value client accounts.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services including performance marketing, content marketing, branding, media planning, social media, and lead generation.
- Existing network of founders, business owners, marketing leaders, and corporate decision-makers is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a target-oriented environment.
