Jeevan Rekha Hospital is a NABH-certified, 220-bed tertiary care multi-speciality hospital committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operation Theatre (OT) Technician to support our surgical team and ensure smooth OT operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the Operation Theatre before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgeries.
- Ensure availability and proper functioning of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Sterilize surgical instruments and maintain aseptic techniques at all times.
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures as per hospital protocols.
- Monitor OT equipment and report any malfunction or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain OT records, inventory, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control policies, biomedical waste management, and NABH standards.
- Assist in patient transfer and positioning during surgical procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the OT complex.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an OT Technician in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization procedures, and OT protocols.
- Strong understanding of infection control and patient safety practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory.
- Experience in a multi-speciality hospital will be preferred.
