Overview of The Role
As a Engineer - DevOps, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing,
and automating robust application infrastructure for diverse client needs. As part
of an organization deeply committed to infrastructure excellence, you will take
ownership of end-to-end infrastructure delivery, ensuring precision, scalability,
and automation at its core.
This dynamic role calls for a tech-savvy innovator capable of independently
automating application setups while maintaining and upgrading systems to
meet evolving demands. As you establish streamlined processes, you will also
champion the adoption of global standards and industry best practices, driving
efficiency and excellence across the board.
Job Responsibilities
- Possess expertise in AWS services such as EC2, ECS, S3, Auto Scaling,
Load Balancers, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and DevOps tools.
- Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket
Pipelines, AWS CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy, integrating testing
frameworks and provisioning scripts, while ensuring compliance with
security, networking, and regulatory standards (e.g., PCI, HIPAA).
- Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting languages like Python and
Shell to streamline setup, configuration, and maintenance activities.
- Use Terraform to manage AWS environments, leveraging Ansible, Chef, and
Puppet for provisioning and configuration.
- Troubleshoot deployment, configuration, and networking challenges to
ensure seamless application functionality and reliability across environments.
- Champion the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, developing
and maintaining infrastructure code to enhance scalability, consistency, and..
- Collaborate with track leads and clients to address cross-module
dependencies, ensuring alignment with project goals and smooth execution.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or
a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
- Skilled in AWS core services, including EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, Auto Scaling,
Load Balancers, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail, with a focus on
networking and VPC configuration.
- Skilled in managing Unix/Linux environments, ensuring seamless setup and
maintenance.
- Experienced in administering CI/CD tools like Jenkins to streamline
automation and deployment.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell, with
experience in version control tools like BitBucket and platforms like Jira/
Confluence.
